Hi, I’m Kelsey Andrews

I started Forge in 2024 after a cross-country move back to Minnesota to be closer to family. I spent 10 years living in Colorado, taking full advantage of the beautiful mountains with my husband- backpacking, skiing, and camping.

With various experience in the design industry, I’ve learned a lot along the way that has prepared me for owning my own business. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from the Art Institutes Intl., Minneapolis and went directly into Kitchen Design. After getting my feet wet, I re-located to Denver and started a position as a Design Showroom Coordinator for builders.

I then worked for several years as a designer for a remodeling company, specializing in Kitchen & Bath transformations while wearing many hats I had no business wearing (estimator, project manager, purchaser to name a few) but ultimately, it helped me learn everything I needed about the remodeling process, and all the important details that go into creating a cohesive space.

After having my daughter in 2023, I started working for a high end design+build firm, moving from Senior Designer to Creative Director, leading the signature design “brand” of spec homes, and having full autonomy on high end custom projects while managing a team of designers.

My Approach

By blending creativity, livability, and authenticity, I craft spaces that truly support how you live. I begin by listening—understanding your routines, priorities, and the feelings you want your home to evoke. From there I translate those insights into thoughtful solutions that balance beauty with function: layered textures, purposeful storage, and circulation that feels effortless.

Clear Direction

Collaborative and pragmatic, I guide decision-making with clear options and real-world tradeoffs, respecting budget and timelines. The result is interiors that foster well-being: inviting, adaptable places that welcome daily life and evolve with you.

Uniquely You

I prioritize materials and layouts that stand up to everyday life while expressing personality—so rooms look intentional without feeling staged.
